Peter Trousdale has more than 30 years practising as a successful lawyer in the area of real estate, wills and estates and business law, and he is now a partner in our Business Law, Real Estate Law and Wills & Estates Groups.
Peter was raised in Sydenham, Ontario where his family has carried on business continuously since 1836.
After practising in Toronto at a major law firm for 3 years, Peter moved back to Sydenham and Kingston where he co-founded and practised in the firm of Trousdale and Trousdale for 27 years. Peter merged his firm with Cunningham, Swan in 2006.
Peter's practice focuses primarily on real estate, including residential, commercial and industrial transactions and their financing, and wills, and estate planning.
A part-time Crown Attorney, Peter is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Frontenac Law Association. He has served as Vice-President of the Cataraqui Cemetery Company and is a member of the Board of Military Communications and Electronics Museum.
