Peter Radley is counsel to the firm and is a member of our Real Estate Group. He brings a wealth of experience in real estate, mortgages and wills & estates. Prior to joining the firm Peter maintained a sole practice in Kingston for 37 years.

Peter's expertise includes dealing with all types of residential, commercial and industrial land transactions and the financing of them. As a former member of the Assessment Review Board of Ontario he can assist with property tax appeals and his experience at the municipal level enables him to assist clients in applications to various provincial and municipal boards and committees.

Peter has been the Area Director for Legal Aid Ontario for more than 20 years and in 2006, he received Legal Aid Ontario's Gem Award for Innovation.

Peter was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1982. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, a member and past president of the Frontenac Law Association, has lectured at Queen's University Law School and at St. Lawrence College.

Peter has been involved with numerous local boards and organizations over the years and is a past Chairman of the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board Foundation. Peter was formerly the Vice-Chairman of the Community Care Access Centre for Frontenac Lennox and Addington and Vice Chairman of the Board of the Kingston General Hospital. In June 2003, Peter was made a Knight of the Order of St. John for his volunteer work with the Order, and was promoted to a Knight of Justice in 2009.

An avid sportsman, Peter has been a member of the International Hockey Hall of Fame Board, an active volunteer in Kingston minor hockey and is presently legal counsel to the Kingston Frontenac Hockey Club of the Ontario Hockey League.
