Maureen Ball is a Labour and Employment Law lawyer. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1983 following a law degree from the University of Toronto.
Her work is dedicated primarily to employers, and she works with large and small organizations in both union and non-union environments. Maureen counsels and represents clients on individual terminations, work place restructuring, labour arbitration, collective bargaining, employment standards, human rights, and other employment issues.
Maureen joined Cunningham, Swan LLP as a partner in 1998. Before then she practised Education & Health Law at a major Toronto law firm. She is a member of the Labour Law subsection of the Canadian Bar Association (Ontario) and was previously a member of the Ontario Human Rights Code Review Task Force Advisory Committee.
Maureen is in demand as a speaker and panelist in her field, has published on labour and employment issues, and has taught Employment Law at Queen's University Law School. Maureen and her family are actively involved with many aspects of Kingston's community life.
