Anthony Ball is a member in our Litigation Group. He brings a wealth of experience as an advocate for his clients in the trial and appellate courts and before private arbitrators.
Anthony's civil litigation practice covers a wide variety of commercial and contractual disputes, including:
- real property and construction disputes
- municipal law litigation including zoning and by-law matters
- estate litigation
- wrongful dismissal and employment litigation
- insurance coverage and defence representation
- shareholders rights, oppression actions and partnership disputes
- director and fiduciary duties
- products liability
- professional negligence
Prior to joining us Anthony was a partner with a major national law firm based in Toronto. He is a member of the Frontenac County Law Association and has been a guest lecturer at the Osgoode Hall Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop. In 2001, Anthony appeared as counsel before the Walkerton Inquiry.
Anthony is on the Board of Directors of the Kingston YMCA and is a member of the Queen's Law School Dean's Council. He is also a past Director of Hospice Kingston.
